A bus with license plates from the Croatian town of Osijek has been completely burned in Belgrade today, near the airport “Nicola Tesla”, the portal “Blic” announced.
The news about the Serbian portal has confirmed Belgrade's fire service, whose vehicles have been on the scene.
An eyewitness said that the bus had been burned “in terms of the word in a few moments”.
“We watched the travelers stand by the highway, watching the fire. Everything they had inside was burned, but we didn't find that there were any injuries”, the witness said.
They've already told the portal that they didn't get any calls, so there's supposed to be no injuries.
Travelers said everything happened very quickly.
The bus turned on like hell, all at once, so it panicked. The driver stopped him, and we all ran out to save his head “Blic” a traveler.
The bus has not been circulated on a regular line, but it has been packed with mainly older people who had started at the Slavonaise Meetings (Croatian province in the border triangle with Serbia and Hungary) in a Catholic church in Zemun, near Belgrade.
We came for a day's trip, so no larger luggage with us, the travelers explained. /Express/
