CKUK patients should wait until 2019 for a magnetic resonance

Patients who go now for medical examination have to wait until 2019 for this examination, since waiting lists go up to one year

The chief of the Neuroradiology Clinic at the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo, Ilir Ahmetgekaj, has told “Zerin” that citizens wait for a diagnosis of diseases up to 10 months.

I don't know exactly, but it's been up to 10 months waiting list. It is generally impossible to work with a magnetic resonance in public service, it is impossible when it takes at least 20 to 30 minutes for a patient to examine. At two working times it is impossible to examine for 1 million and 800 thousand residents”, he said.

According to him, even though a waiting list reduction project has been made, patients still have to wait months.
