US Ambassador to Belgrade Kyle Scott has declared to Kosovo Radio Television that this year could be put to a comprehensive agreement, if the Kosovo and Serbian sides have courage and leadership.
The “Festival "Good afternoon," dobar danʹa is event in which different cultures are presented and this should not be politicised”, the American ambassador to Serbia estimates.
He attended last night's Kosovo amendment concert “Zanat”, which performed old Albanian music under the festival “Goody, Dobar dan”.
Scott said the main orders of this festival are harmony, reconciliation and acceptance of each other's cultures.
Asked whether it is really getting into the final phase of talks on normalisation of reports between Kosovo and Serbia, the US ambassador stressed that it will depend on the behaviour and courage of both states.
I think we have the excellent opportunity this year to move towards the comprehensive agreement and normalise reports between Kosovo and Serbia, if there is state leadership in the governments of both states. It takes courage and leadership”, Scott said.
