The Association of Kosovo Journalists (AGK) has reacted about the attack on journalist Valon Rashiti.
T7's journalist has announced the AGK was attacked at the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo by several people.
According to AGK's reaction, journalist Rashit has said he was in KKUK's space, reporting closely on a case of injuries to two people who had occurred in the afternoon hours in Pristina, where family members of one of the wounded have rushed towards him, with what was hit in his head.
The Kosovo Journalists' Association has accepted this case with much concern and continues to be in constant contact with the journalist in question, which it has recommended immediately to present the case to the nearest police station”, the AGK's reaction reported.
The AGK has called on relevant institutions -- Police and Prosecutorial -- to address the case seriously and the attacker to be brought to justice.
We remember that this attack constitutes direct violation of media work and journalists informing citizens”, further said in response.
The AGK has recorded 12 cases of threats and attacks on journalists since January to this day, including today's case.
