Magheramores Beach, south of the town of Wicklow, was the <x0m> hosting” show for women only on Saturday morning.
The full efforts of 2,505 women thus set a new record “Gwinness”, breaking what was set in 2015, when a total of 786 people removed their clothes in “South Beach” of Perth in Australia.
The show also marked the sixth year of swimming without charity-based clothes, an initiative by Deirdre Featherstone, when the latter was undergoing a treatment against breast cancer.
More than 150 thousand euros have been collected so far for cancer-suffering children, while funds collected from Saturday's show went to “AiBheanıs Pink Tie”, a charity for cancer children.
