Vuciq returns the word to the Serbian church: You can make decisions for Kosovo

Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has said he does not think the church should make key political decisions.

Vuciqi also dismissed the assessment that the state is behaving as if the church was guilty to the Kosovo issue, reports “Fisti”.

“Shouldn't have the church to make key political decisions, but of course it has the right to give its opinion”, Vucicici has said in the question of commenting on the Serbian newspaper “Blic” that the state is blaming the church for Kosovo alone, Coha.net broadcasts.

He said the church is not guilty of anything, while he stressed that he does not deprive her of her right to give her opinion, but should not agree with any statement by church representatives.

“We are a secular state and I respect the church very much. I'm not a big believer, but I'm a believer. I don't think I've done a bit personally, even as president of government and state”, Vuciq said in a pronomation for journalists in Baku, Azerbaijan.
