US President Donald Trump has shown his bedroom to German Chancellor Angela Merkel during her last visit to Washington.
So said US Ambassador to Germany Richard Green, in a strange “attempt to protect Trump's relationship with German Chancellor.
He has said that the president has donated Merkel a very personal “visit to” in the corners of the house where he lives, reports British television, Kosovo presents.
“Angela Merkel has also seen the president's bedroom of feeling and sleep. That was extremely personal. No previous president has shown her this piece of”, the American ambassador said.
The US has done everything to deny rumours that Trump and Merkel have a tense relationship.
While the president has welcomed other European leaders to the White House, holding his hands with Theresa May and pulling the bourth from Emmanuel Macron's shoulders, he appeared colder with German Chancellor Merkel.
On her first visit, Trump did not even respond to Merkel's request for handshake.
