“Looking for interesting questions why Russia would do this to create serious obstacles to Serbia joining the European Union”, he quoted “danas” as saying.
„Normising relations with all neighbours is a condition for EU membership. And is “abnormalization” with Kosovo if Serbia still works on undermining Kosovo's membership in the United Nations”? , he was asked, time.net.
The EU must respond to this. The next question is what would push Kosovo to want talks on the binding legal agreement for “abnormalisation”. Even without EU membership, normalising relations with Kosovo is in Serbia's interest, including the possibility of trade and investment opening. I don't think it's a point on this. Serbia and Kosovo are the ones who decide what normalisation they want and what they want to sign as their legal obligations”, the Norwegian Ambassador Bjornstad has concluded.
