“Russia and the US are using phone lines to ease tensions”

Kremlin spokesman Dimitri Peskov confirmed that both sides are using telephone lines to prevent the incident, reports The Guardian”, Perscope broadcast.

Asked about the phone links between the US and Russia, Peskov said “Linja exists and is active. ”

The telephone line has been used to prevent a direct clash between the United States and Russian troops who are involved in the conflict in Syria, where Russia is supporting Assad's regime, while the United States supports Syrian opposition forces.
