The President of the United States, Donald Trump, highly praised the meeting between the northeastern leader, Kim Jong Un, and South Korean President Moon Jae, calling it “prehistoric”.
After a year of intense rocket launch and nuclear evidence, the historic meeting between North and South Korea occurred. Good things are happening, but only time will tell”, Trump said through a Twitter post.
Kim and Moon met on Friday in the border area on the South Korean side.
The two leaders pledged the complete disunlearisation of the Korean Peninsula.
Their meeting is expected to pave the way for even the possible summit between Kim and American President Trump in May.
