Vetevendosje Movement MP Fatmire Mulhrama-Kollcak has accused all governments up to date of failing to implement basic citizens' laws, such as it is for health insurance. According to her, it has had to be the law on health insurance and implementation for 15 years now.
These comments she made in the association of Health Minister Uran Ismajli, called by LVV, for information systems and public and private health insurance in Kosovo.
The lack of public health insurance, the adequate treatment situation of patients in Kosovo is making it difficult from day to day in absence of both SSH and health insurance. In conditions where Kosovo is the poorest country in the region of Europe, with the averagely low life expectancy, with lower investment in the health sector in relation to Bruto Prudupin, as well as the only country in the region without health insurance. The approach not serious, and not only does it not provide the basic right to receive health services, which are part of the basic human right, but it still depletes with many people so poor in view of the domestic economy impact”, Mulhrama-Kollcak said.
She said private insurance holding the monopoly currently in the absence of implementing the Law on Public Insurance, abuses in most cases, perhaps there are exceptions, with the interruption of contracts with patients who in the next year must continue a more expensive treatment.
MP Kolcak said that at the end of the debate, she will file a motion harmonising with all parliamentary groups.
