At least 31 people have been killed and over 50 injured in a suicide attack at one of the voter registration centres in the Afghan capital, Kabul.
“More than 50 others were injured in the blast that hit a crowd waiting at the entrance of centre”, reports the BBC.
So far no one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
The attack occurred in a residential neighbourhood with Shiite populations, which have also been the target of attacks, which the militant Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for.
Voter registration started this month for legislative elections, which will be held in October.
