Haradinaj's wish for Constitutional Day

In the case of the 10th anniversary of drafting the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has congratulated citizens of the Republic of Kosovo

Following Kosovo's liberation, the declaration of Independence, the founding of the country's Constitution is one of the most important dates of our state calendar. On April 9, 2008, Kosovo established its foundations of consolidation as a state, functioning its highest judicial act, its Constitution.

A decade ago, through this document, our Kosovo was sealed as an independent country, with free citizens equal for everyone, in an unlimited democratic spirit.

The first decade of the country's Constitution, along with our being a judicial state, has experienced its challenges. These challenges also show our democratic values as a society when we have accepted these constitutional principles as the guiding principles of Kosovo.

Today, this legal base covers the highest values of our democracy.

The year's anniversary, of the country's main legal pillar, we were given many duties. They find us busy, with numbered successes, but also the challenge of overcoming and making us stronger. But, above all, this jubilee finds us safer than ever, for our Euro-Atlantic path and permanent friendship with the United States.
