The family of six Turkish citizens arrested and deported to Turkey today have written a public letter to MPs from the Kosovo Republic of Kosovo.

Through this letter, family members have once again expressed concern about the situation in question. They have demanded that through work in the Parliament MPs make sure that their rights and other foreign citizens living in Kosovo are protected.

In the hope that you will co-operate with us and seek the restoration of our constitutional rights in the country, we let you know that we feel at risk for both ourselves and our deported members of Turkey. Therefore, a conform order of the Constitutional Order and your competencies, we ask you through your actions to request approval of the legal measures that could provide protection from the consequences of legitimate kidnappings/exports for us and for all foreign citizens in Kosovo who happened in situations similar to us”, says in a portion of the letter, Kosovo passes.

They have confirmed that despite the situation created, they are grateful to Kosovo institutions.

Kosovo Republic MP letter

Honored MP of the Republic of Kosovo,

On behalf of the families of the kidnapped and illegal deportations of our six families in the Republic of Turkey, we express our honour for you as deputies (representants directly elected by the people) of Kosovo. This people, to whom we are sincerely grateful for the continued support and sharing of pain with us, and their determination to have such acts influenced by the shake of the foundations of the state of Kosovo and to ensure the rights of its citizens with particular emphasis on the rights of foreign citizens in Kosovo, to explain to the last detail, so that all those who have been part of misusing their legal competencies and causing Kosovo's state to take action in opposition to the real will of its native people and a non-functfunctional character, taken from the outside, the uncertainness of its citizens, to be suspicious or suspicious, to the justice and justice. And this for two main reasons: The first, for the Republic of Kosovo to prove its struggle for independence and its ability to function as an independent state, under the democratic and promotional spirit reflected throughout its constitutional order and its aspirations to be part of the family of democratic states, the world's peace-loving and Euro-Atlantic orientation, as the only solution to Kosovo; and second, that all those with their own personal actions and aspiring, using the legal competencies entrusted by its sovereign people, as individuals or others, for personal benefit, see the courage of their own personal ownership and the misuse of individual institutions, while proving to the rights of Kosovo, as well as their own rights, and as well as well as their own personal rights, and as well as well as well as their own, individual rights, and as well as possible, as well as well as well as their own and as their own.

We as members of the kidnapped and later deported illegals from the Republic of Kosovo, despite our grief over what has hit our most loved ones and constitutional order in the Republic of Kosovo, express gratitude for actions undertaken by Kosovo state institutions to whitewash this case to the last detail and restore credibility in the country's institutions by imposing punishment upon those who, with their own personal or related actions, have entrusted legal competencies to them and the social consequences that the Republic of Kosovo expects and is responsible for protecting them, and ensuring that such measures are not to be caused by such legal consequences.

But that, only the formation of investigative and working troops in the dawning of this case will not be enough to ensure their functionality, if their employees are not taken into responsibility by parliamentary bodies or other democratic-spirit checks that can even give the record of credibility to these investigations and results released from these investigations. Otherwise these investigations would lose their purpose and restore the first standard several days when even our family were illegally deported by the Republic of Kosovo through the actions of those who were given confidence in the protection of citizens' rights and for jobs in their service. So, honored, the function of these investigative troops set up to investigate the extent of the case which caused the consequences of risking national security under the pretext and order of “the willingness to defend national security”, can only work that with the control of responsible persons who have no doubts in the principles of democracy and are firmly determined not to bear the guilt of those who need for personal needs cause unjust consequences in losing credit to all state officials and in the face of Kosovo as a whole.

Given your quality as the chosen of the people of Kosovo and our determination that the people to whom we are very grateful during all these years of our stay in the Republic of Kosovo have known to choose their representatives according to the value this people have given them, even though we do not have the right to vote, stand by and respect their choice and you as the individuals elected as their reliable representatives. Therefore, the hopes we have regarding values such as love, tolerance, hospitality and respect for human rights and freedoms on the part of the people of Kosovo can undoubtedly best be maintained and represented by you.

In the hope that you will co-operate with us and seek the restoration of our constitutional rights in the country, we let you know that we feel vulnerable to both ourselves and our illegal family members in Turkey. So, a conform order of the Constitutional Order and your competencies, we ask you through your actions to seek the approval of legal measures that could provide protection from the consequences of legitimate kidnappings and extraditions for us and for all foreign citizens in Kosovo who happened in situations similar to us. These include meeting the eventual change of foreign law, with the aim of meeting legal regulations and limiting the personal competencies of certain institutions that have led to this unfortunate event, we fear that the same events could be repeated. Also, conforming to principles that the state of Kosovo has pledged to respect, we ask you as representatives of the people to seek logarids and companies of the actions of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to be informed of the situation and impact on the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms of the deportees in Turkey through the legal and diplomatic ways preceded by law.

Recall the fact that since these events, President Erdogan has been very vocal and has stated several times “this is not our first such axon in Kosovo and will not be the last”. Since such statements are public, we stress that we feel extremely concerned about our security and the danger of repeating such actions.

Finally, we express the same respect and credibility to you as representatives of the people of Kosovo and we sincerely believe that we too will be treated as citizens of this country along with other foreigners who have chosen the Kosovo Republic as a place in which we take refuge, work, and live with our families.

With respect,

Families of Illegalally Deported Persons
