The girl who became an orphan after killing her father is seeing Kosovo President Hashim Thaci's decision to forgive two years of the murder penalty as humiliating.
The president's recent decree to forgive 14 prisoners in Dubrava Prison has prompted reaction from one damaged family.
Agron Arifi was a man from Pristina who was killed by Ruzhhdi Misini in 2010.
Missin had been sentenced to 13 years and 6 months in prison, while two years were pardoned to the president's decision.
Arbenita Arifi, Agron's daughter, says that this decree was announced through the media and news shocked them.
The same thing as the day we buried our father when he left us, and when we found out what happened, they got the same thing, and they got worse. I'm in the police and they told me that this is the president's decision and you don't have anything to do with bo”, Arifi said.
She also had a message for the president who, according to her, should influence the prevention of murder, not their stimuli.
The President said if he meant to stop these murders that are being committed every day, he shouldn't forgive people who commit murder, who take lives, who wash someone up without a father,”, Arifi ordered.
14 persons sentenced to prison had benefited from the forgiveness of Kosovo President Hashim Thaci earlier this month.
Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has announced a decree for forgiveness for 14 convicts suffering sentence in Dubrava Prison.
He made the decision according to the Commission's recommendation to review the apology requirements.
Callo. com has secured the report of this commission, which says forgiveness was made due to “repenting of convicts for the work done, good behaviour during the time of the detention of the institution and achieving resocialisation”
According to the indictment, Ruzhdi Misini and Agron Arifi had had had disagreements and had been beaten because of Arifi's dust working on concrete plates. A few hours later, Missini had shot Arifi's face dead.
