George has remembered his mother as a wonderful woman, and said she was lucky to have such a mother.
In a response to his profile, Bush has said that his family will be badly absent.
My dear mother died at age 92. Laura, Barbara, Jenna and I are sad, but our souls are quiet because we know who she was. Barbara Bush was a First Lady and a wonderful woman, unlike any that produced diversity, love, and scriptures for millions of people. For us, it was much more. Mom kept us in her toes and kept us smiling until the end. I'm a lucky man that Barbara Bush was my mother. Our family will be missing a lot, and we thank you all for your prayers and good wishes”, and Geroge W Bush wrote on his Facebook account.
