Gaddafi's adviser: That's how we financed the campaign, why it wouldn't be our friend president of France

A trusted former adviser and translator of Muammar Gaddhafi spoke of “RT”, which has shed light on how the Libyan leader had given 20m euros to former France President Nicolas Sarcozy during France's 2007 election campaign for president. Moftah Missouri, a former translator and a man of [...]
Moftah Missouri, a former translator and trustworthy man of Gaddhafi, has confessed the moment when the former Libyan leader had helped Sarcozy's presidential campaign with 20m euros. Sarkozy had reportedly first announced Gaddafi's ambitions to enter the Elisee Palace during a visit he had to Libya in 2005, where the colonel had welcomed his news, Missouri says.
“At the end of his visit, he met with the Libyan leader and revolutionist (Gaddafi) ... The meeting has lasted about 45 minutes”, said the former Gaddafi adviser.
“would be good if a friend of Libya and his friend [Gaddafi] become president of France,” added Missouri.
The Libyan leader had later promised him “all kinds of support and assistance” for the French politician, shortly before he was declared for France's presidential candidacy. His campaign officials have met with Libyan homlogs, and on both sides a document has been made that behind stood Bashir Saleh a negotiator who demanded 50m euros as a donation to support Sarkozyt's bid, reports “RT” Transmission Periscope.
This document was sent to Foreign Minister Moussa Koussa, and later the office of Libyan leader” was announced, Missouri said. Gaddafi had looked at the document and ordered that the offer be reduced to 20m euros, he added.
Until Missouri has no evidence of the transfer of money, he said Gaddhaff had conveyed this news during a conversation with him. He once told me: I gave him 20 million. ”
I don't remember anything when the transfer took place or which bank the money was transferred to,” discovered Missouri./Periscopi/
