Tomorrow schools on strike, Minister of Education does not comment

The United Education, Science and Culture Union (SBASHK) has announced that no lesson will be held on Monday. But the Minister of Education has not commented on this.

Minister of Education, Science and Technology Shyqi has today declared that professional schools are his priority and the Government of Kosovo. The first comments by August were made on the visit to professional school “11 March” in Prizren, in honour of the 57th anniversary of this school's establishment.

A professional school is our commitment, to our Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, not by chance we in the governing programme have stated that professional schools will be a priority of our governance. That was for a reason because our young people needed needed needed knowledge and skill, needed competences, and easy access to their employment. Here with your school I saw this, we visited several cabinets really were the impressive work of our students from painting to mechanical works”, he said.

Bytyqi said that Kosovo has wonderful students, but according to him it is a commitment of teachers to provide needed knowledge and skills. While adding that they as leaders of the education dictatorship are responsible for establishing professional school conditions for educators.

Praise for this school in the 57th anniversary of the establishment took place by the Agency for Professional Training.

Every time we came to March 11th high school in Prizren, we were surprised by all we've seen. We've been here before and over and over again we've seen changes in each of the sectors that you have in each of the directions you have here at school”, he said.

Skender Susuri, the education director in Prizren municipality before students, has presented his priorities.

Our program is based on three main pillars, the first pillar is the safety of students, we engage in our schools to be safe and inclusive. The second column is joint decision-making, and we're saying that every time there's no decision-making in Prizren City, which will not have the support of the community of students, teachers and parents. Our third engagement will be the quality, we will work hard together so that quality in our schools will mark growth”, he said.

Bujar Lajqi, teacher at professional school “11 March”, said this school is driving the way to a real professional centre.

Thanks to the work and engagement of teachers, school management, other administrative staff and assistance our school is leading the way to a real professional centre. In establishing the quality in education and professional skills of our students to be competent for the profile that ends, besides the school's professorial staff, we also need special help from the work market”, he said.

Otherwise, high-school professional “11 March” has a total of 1,000 and 500 students in different accounts.
