Sweden will close schools, which do not support gender equality. That's how the Minister of Education in Sweden, Gustav Friedol, announced.
He has suggested that this decision will primarily affect religious schools, adding that they cannot continue to work those schools which do not respect the state's fundamental values, writes Periscopi.
“Those who do not support fundamental values about equality and human rights will be prevented from carrying out their activity in Sweden” has suggested the minister of Swedish education.
According to the media there, this decision will mostly affect Muslim schools.
Sweden has about 60 religious schools, most of them are Christian, 11 are Islamic, and others are schools of other religious affiliations. /Periscope.
