North Korean and Swedish diplomats Ri Jong-ho and Margot Valstrom spoke today of diplomatic opportunities to achieve a peaceful solution to the conflict on the Korean peninsula.
“Suedia has stressed the need for North Korea to abandon its missile and nuclear programme, in line with UN Security Council resolutions”, the Swedish Foreign Affairs Ministry announced.
Sweden is the country representing the US for talks and diplomatic activities with North Korea, as the US has no diplomatic representation in the communist state.
