At the weekend, he stayed in Tropoj, US Ambassador to Tirana Donald Lu. Accompanied by OSCE Ambassador to Albania Bern Boschard, chief of the UN Office in Tirana, representative of the Ombudsman and Mayor Tropoja, US Ambassador has participated in the “Bache and information event on the consequences caused by the construction of hydropower plants in Valbona, organised by the association “Toka”.
Some of Albania's most prominent personalities, in the field of biological science, environmental protection and environmental legislation, such as University of Tirana professors Abdullah Dick and Lulzim Shuka, participated in the event. While this time, representatives of the concession company “Gener 2” that are building hydropower plants on the Valbona River have not been missed.
