This movement from the Kremlin, according to sources of the Serbian media “Novost”, in addition to presenting a strong representation of Belgrade's positions in the international arena, is virtually the first concrete consequence of an open phone conversation between Vladimir Putin and Alexander Vucinqi. ”
The Belgrade daily says “Russian diplomatic representatives will strengthen their powers in the UN, the EU, the OSCE and NATO to strengthen Resolution 1244, which is the basis for all talks on Kosovo's status. ”
Tensions between Pristina and Belgrade came Monday when an office director for Kosovo, Marko Djuric, was arrested by the Kosovo Special Police Unit in northern Mitrovica, reports “b92”, the Periscopi broadcast.
