Ramabaja seeks exemption from judge judging

The defendant's defence lawyer for terrorism, Sadri Ramabaja, has demanded that Judge Naim Krasniqi-Jashnica be expelled from the case.

Under this request, which Insander has secured, the lawyer claims the accused personally recognises Judge Krasniqi-Jashnica, with whom he says there have been disturbing reports.

“Sadri Ramabaja has stressed that he has personal recognition with the judge, when he was the director of the permanent secretary in the prime minister's office, and the same was official for legal issues in this secretary, and reports with the same have been decomposing”, said the request.

In addition, Ramaba appears to have found yet another connection to the judge with the case.

Lawyer Ramiz Krasniqi says the reports by the court have been submitted to the indictment by the media. According to him, violations of the criminal procedure's provisions are another reason for excluding the judge from the case.

Ramaba along with nine other suspects as members of the criminal organisation “People's Office”, with the so-called “Avni Rrustema”, accused of criminal work preparing terrorist attack and revenge, ownership, control or unauthorized possession.
