The arrival of new buses from “Urban Traffic” has been prolonged.
Although different timetables have been given as to when the last half will arrive, 21 new buses are still not in Kosovo.
First, it was mentioned last summer, the time when these buses will come, but that did not happen.
Then it was also mentioned mid-September, but it still didn't turn out to be the date they were coming.
And since then, no more deadlines have been given as to when the last 21 buses will arrive, bought by the Czech company “Iveco”.
Indexline, every now and then, has asked for an answer from the Pristina Community when this will happen, but we have not received answers.
Thus, although much has been mentioned, the last part of the 51 new buses is unknown when citizens of Pristina will be exploited.
Otherwise, the “Traffic company Urban” has received a loan worth 10m euros for the purchase of 51 buses from the Czech company “Iveko”, but so far have reached only 30. The first bus fleet had arrived in early 2017, with the promise that it will soon reach its end.
The agreement with the company “Ilco” was signed in September 2016 between Shpend Ahmeti, Pristina chairman and company representative “Iveco”.
The 51 new buses will be used for urban traffic and are Euro 6.
