Prime Minister Haradinaj says advancing justice system priorities

The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has reconfirmed the Government's pledge to strengthen the rule and law, and in this direction sees the beginning of the process of functional Review of the Law Rule Sector.

At the opening of the functional review process, organised by the Ministry of Justice, ahead of numerous participants, President Hashim Thaci, Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselin, representatives from the US Embassy of the EU, the Kosovo Judicial and Prosecutorial Council, Prime Minister Haradinaj stressed that rule of law is a priority of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, and this has been witnessed with time, energy, resources dedicated to rule of law.

According to his office's press report, Prime Minister Haradinaj thanked the international partners for their continued support, and stressed that the government, having a prioritisation priority of the justice system, has seen a real study of the whole sector, which today is seen as this functional review of the rule of law sector is in line with our strategic goals and in the position of implementing the Republika Kosovo's obligations to Euro-Atlantic integration processes and at the same time partnership with the country's<1x>

Furthermore, Prime Minister Haradinaj said the Government of the Republic of Kosovo has taken the necessary actions for supporting this process, reaffirming pledges to strengthen the rule and law in the country.

Stressing that the government will be unhurt in this direction, the prime minister thanked all the actors, all the institutions involved in order and law, and invited this functional, historical revision together in our country to do it together, and to enjoy it all.
