Police arrest attacked by Rexhep Selim's brother confirmed

The Kosovo Police Inspectorate one through a communique for the media suggests he has arrested a policeman with the initials A.I.

According to the IPK with the authorization of the prosecutor and the Constitutional Court in Pristina, a warrant has been carried out in Pristina on suspicion that the police official A.I., investigators at Pristina Police Station Jug (Pristina Regional Director) has committed criminal acts Misuse of official position or authority” and “Property, control or unauthorized possession of weapons” ahead of the Penal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.

“Today IPK investigators have implemented the warrant issued by the Constitutional Court in Pristina and have raided a location in the Pristina Hospital Lagen, where they confiscated a caricator gun, a weapon with the inscription of THOMSON, two hunting bullets, six different bullets (is suspected of being pistols), 7 knives of various models, metal metal cart, metal boxing, etc. That will serve for further criminal procedure”, says IPK communiqué.

Under the State Prosecutor's decision, IPK investigators have arrested the suspect, and the same has been assigned the detention measure for 48 hours until further judicial procedures continue.

The IPK has also recommended the provision of suspension of the police official as an administrative measure.
