At the extraordinary session, Vetevendosje MP Arberie Nagavci has blamed Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj for the decision to sack the board of the Kosovar Agency of Discension, as a result of the expulsion of the AKA from the European Register for Security of Quality in Higher Education.
She demanded that concrete measures be taken for the AKA to return to ECAR, Periscopi writes.
“Vetevendosje Movement considers as very disturbing the exception of the Agency of Discretion by the European Register for High Education Security and urgently calls on the Government and August to take all the necessary actions to improve this major damage being done to higher education by political and party influences.
Among the emergency measures to overcome this situation are proposed: 1. Within the 90 days of complaining, all necessary actions to return are under way AKA in ECA. 2. To carry out all of the ministry's legal obligations -- primarily the country's reporting for the dismissal of the former AKA KSHC according to Article 7, points 5 and LAL in Kosovo -- where it is estimated that: “if more than a third of the board members are replaced for any reason within a year, the ministry should report this Location”, reporting that has never been made despite our constant demand. 3. To report the Assembly and all interested parties why all members of the Kosovo Agency for Accreditation Board have been immediately fired, among which there were international members, higher education experts, who are valued by the international academic community? Tell us if there was any research and analysis of the work and performance of the AKA KSHC? If so, what are the findings, either offenses or alleged irregularities, what has been undertaken or taken care of to improve these irregularities and why have these not been made public? To withdraw the planned starting point for last session for the Ratification of KSHC members and the same innovations on the agenda after taking all measures that guarantee a completely reliable, professional, constructive and full-enforcement process, reflecting on the proposal of new KSHCA members who have professional and moral credibility, politically impartial, free from the conflict of interest and personal integrity. This has to be done as soon as possible in order to function the AKA's work. 5. To initiate legal changes that would enable mechanisms and instruments to regulate this issue in the future”, she said. /Periscopi/
