This morning, the Civil Guard stopped Gabriel's father's escort while transporting the boy's corpse into the trunk of a car,” told the AFP news agency, Interior Minister Juan Ignacio Zoido.
Gabriel disappeared on February 27th while standing at his grandmother's home in the village of Las Hortichualas in the Níjar municipality.
He had to go to a neighbor but never came back.
On March 3rd, the father of the boy Angel Cruz and his partner, Anna Julia Queenada, found a T-shirt with his DNA 10km from Niyar.
Spanish media report that the police have monitored Mrs. Quazada since then.
At a rally attended by thousands of supporters on Friday, Gabriel's mother and father said they had <x0 most hope than ever” to find their son.
An image of a blue fish inspired by Gabriel's love for the Sea was shared in the social media with the hashtag #TodosSomos Gabriel, meaning “we are all Gabriel”
The Spanish Interior Minister through a Twitter post on Sunday said he had talked to parents of the minor boy, who had conveyed the <x0-bedery and deep friend of the government and all Spaniards”.
