It is now known that the coalition parties (PDK-AAK-NISMA), along with LDK, own 79 votes for the issue. They need another vote in order to ratify the border demarcation agreement between Kosovo and Montenegro.
Infrastructure Minister Pal Lekaj, who comes from the AAK ranks, voiced confidence that on Tuesday it will complete the topic.
He for Inseder, said he believes this new parliamentary group will be flexible and principled, so as not to allow this topic, in the hands of the Serbian List.
The independent group is very constructive. I hope they find any deputy or as a whole of the group and think positive. I expect these will reflect positively and vote for this agreement. The reason for that is that they are more flexible. I don't think they allow this issue to be dependent on someone who thinks differently, the Serbian List. But, whatever it is, I say with full conviction Tuesday will be granted ratification”, Lekaj said.
But, chief of the “Independent MP group”, Dardan Sejdiu has denied they will vote in favour of the demarcation agreement.
He has said that nothing has changed, and all 12 deputies of this group are unique and vote against.
As far as demarcation is concerned, we are all unique. Nothing's changed. Like we were two weeks ago, like yesterday, so are we today. There's no vote for this deal”, Sejdiu said.
