Vetevendosje Movement Chairman Albin Kurti has said he considers every day that there is no dialogue with Kosovo Serbs is a lost day.
Kurti has said this statement at the table “Vetevendosje Alternative for dialogue” organised today by the Democratic Institute of Kosovo.
“The LVV considers that every day we don't have dialogue with Kosovo Serbs is a lost day. We should prioritize dialogue with Kosovo Serbs as citizens of our country. With what we would have to stress, what is common among us, and these are the lack of jobs, lack of justice, but also the various common professions that we have everyday problems, especially in the socio-economic field. Instead of dialogue in Brussels with closed doors, diplomatic dialogue where heads of states are invited to sell to the respective peoples when they return to their countries. We should insist on open democratic social dialogue earlier that for reconciliation for development”, Kurti said.
And for the resulting dialogue, he said he didn't bring any results. He even considers the establishment of a parliamentary Commission necessary to investigate the dialogue that has been conducted so far.
“think that for this dialogue a parliamentary investigative commission will be formed in order to investigate all implementations and not implement the agreements from energy to telecommunications from freedom of movement to recognition of diplomas from judicial police in the north of bilateral diplomatic representation from joint border management and to Kosovo's anti-competitive demination with the introduction of”, Kurti said.
The territorial exchange issue has said this should not happen. The north is divided, but the valley cannot be taken away.
“I believe Serbia wants us to want territorial exchange. Because when Kosovo officials speak and declare themselves in favour of territorial exchange, that is, you have given up the north while the Presevo Valley cannot get it. Territorial exchange is euphemism for partitioning of Kosovo, since they cannot call Kosovo partition because the response would be very severe then use a reserve expression, the expression reserve territorial exchange. Anyone in Pristina who is declared for territorial exchange has only expressed willingness to remove from the north. While the Valley can't get”, Kurt said.
At this table, Kurti has also spoken of Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciqi's haste to make deals with Hashim Thaci before Kosovo forms the army.
President Vucic is quick to make the deal with Thaci before Kosovo has an army. Because a country where the military is its own is much closer to completing the sovereignty and statehood and the negotiating position of that state changes. Serbia's President Vuciq wants dialogue and agreement with Thaci before Kosovo has an army. That's why he's in a hurry. The second major reason it is hasty is that Serbia has opened 12 chapters of 30 in the process of EU membership negotiations, and we know also chapter 35 there. Serbia is hasty as Germany's Foreign Affairs Minister Zigmar Gabriel recently said Serbia should accept it, recognise Kosovo to enter the EU. Serbia wants to be armed in Brussels with a series of agreements it has reached with Thaci”, Kurti said.
He has added that the major real reason that is pressing on the Serbian side is that, as President Thaci has said, his conviction is more illegal than legal, even because of Dick Marty's report, and Vuciqi wants to exploit it.
