Renowned Kosovo actor Ilir Tafa, who is known for numerous roles, especially in many film and theatre projects in Bosnia and Croatia, has spoken to Bosnian media about the statement by actor Rade Serbdzija, who refused to play KLA commander Adem Jashar, reports “CoSSev”

Among other things, it is said to have some proposals for the role of Adem Jashar, and one of them was Serbian actor Rade Serbdzija.
Also, “Braniteljski portal veteran” published this news, stating that Rade Serbdzija refused to play the role of the legendary commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army, because he considers him a criminal.
“Sherbenzia refused the role of Adem Jashar, saying that if he accepted the role, then the whole world will recognise former KLA commander”.
For all of this, Kosovo actor Ilir Tafa had a simple answer:
“Bota, separately the modern one knows no heroes greater than Adem Jashar! Mankind's history does not know how his war, his sacrifice, and his family are for freedom. It is an icon of Kosovo freedom, but freedom is a universal value, so Adem Jashar is the hero of humanity! Rade Sherbedzi is a great actor, the best in the former Yugoslavia, but not enough to play the role of Adem Jashar! In my opinion, it must either be implemented in the scenario, the direction or role of Adam Jashar, each of those listed to participate in this large project must have at least one Oscar acquired”, he concluded.
