The secret meeting between the two presidents has been held in the Chinese capital, Beijing.
This trip comes, as it is scheduled to hold a summit between North Korea, South Korea and the US, the three states that agreed to talk to ease tension about North Korean leader's nuclear ambitions, reports “Sky News” Transmission Periscope.
Chinese President Xi organised a banquet in honour of the presence of Kim Jong Un and his wife, it is known according to the state news agency “Xinhua”, in which he has reported that Kim is the “dedicated to delearisation” of his state.
I've had a successful conversation with Secretary General Xi Yinging on developments between the two states, on respecting both states, preserving peace and stability on the Korean peninsula, and other issues,” said Kim Jong Un.
Kim also expressed readiness to improve relations with South Korea.
It was Kim's first meeting in a country since becoming the leader of North Korea in 2011.
Meanwhile, the White House said it was further “evidence that our maximum pressure campaign is creating the right atmosphere for dialogue. ”
The Chinese government contacted the White House early Tuesday for a brief meeting in Beijing with Kim Jong Un,” added an American spokesman. /Periscopi/
