Jahjaga sees woman's position improved in Kosovo

In presenting the programme “The performance of the entrepreneurial wife”, it was said that the Kosovo woman faces difficult situations, KTV reported.

Former President Atifete Jahjaga said that empowering the woman was one of the top priorities she had in power.

While, Economic Development Minister Valdrin Luka stressed that women should be given the opportunity because when they have the opportunity, they know how to make big changes.

He promised he would work for public enterprise boards to have a 30 per cent quota of representation by women. Otherwise this walk has been made for the first time in Kosovo.
