Investigation into six “gylenists” is under way at Istanbul Chief Prosecutor

In line with the Prosecution guidelines, investigations are conducted by the Istanbul Security Directorate's Anti-Terror Office teams (TEM). TEM has formed a special team for the investigation as it learns that this team works in co-ordination with MlT and directorate intelligence units. Also within the framework of the works, communication with all relevant institutions in Turkey is developing concerning the suspects, while stressing that their positions and actions in the organisation are being thoroughly investigated.

Suspects compared with activities in the Balkan states have been committed to ensuring the flight of members of the organisation to Turkey towards European and US states. Security units had confirmed that Cihan ãozkan managed the collected money on behalf of charity in Balkan states, which he transferred to Pennsylvania, U.S.A., where the head of the terrorist organisation is located. Meanwhile, Kahraman Demirez, responsible for the youth restructuring in Kosovo, has been actively working in the Balkan states, while playing a role in joining large numbers of people.

On the other hand, Hasan Hüseyin Günakan, also brought to Turkey through the MlT operation, was responsible for teachers at school facilities in the region. The names of other persons brought to Turkey are taught that they were senior figures responsible for structuring “FETO” / PY in various institutions and organisations. He's prepared reports in favor of “FETO” / PY at the Law Medicine Institute.

In particular, it is taught that Osman Karakaya has played an active role in the Ergenekon process, during which he has prepared reports in favour of “FETO” / The PY at the Istanbul Institute of Legal Medicine, while for this reason it has been assigned decorations by the head of the terrorist organisation Fetullah Gülen, KTV broadcast.

The defendant Hapip Bostan, who is tried in connection with the restructuring of the Legal Medicine Institute at the 27th Istanbul Supreme Criminal Court, and for which it has been found to have used ByLock, has been referenced for Osman Karakaya to enter this institute. The name Osman Karakaya has also been found to be in the indictment of the organisation's structure for the Legal Medicine Institute. Karakaya's name is also found in the Ergenekon process.

The report on the state of health of the defendant arrested in the second process “Ergenekon”, former Rector of Başkent University, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Haberal was preparing Osman Karakaya.

After Haberal's attorney at the time, Dilek Helvacı, had filed a criminal indictment against Karakaya due to “the signing of the decision to scandalous, non-existence and false report” on charges of “abuse of duty”.
