Today we marked the 28th anniversary of the establishment of the LDK branch in Rahovec in the presence of many activists and friends. I want to thank those who founded and held the branch for almost three decades, the men and women of Rahoveci that 28 years ago joined President Rugova in his mission of free and independent Kosovo.
The LDK has played a crucial role at any stage of building the state of Kosovo. The LDK's story is actually the history of the people of Kosovo for freedom and independence, beginning with peace resistance, armed struggle, international protectorate, independence and state building.
The mission that now we as genes have is to integrate Kosovo into the EU and NATO and maintain friendship with the US, as President Rugova wanted.
