Today on the 20th anniversary of the Kosovo Liberation Army era, I daughter of the nation's hero Hamez Jashari, the survivor of the historic battle of 5.6 and 7 Mars, will share memories on this anniversary date that gives me pain, pride and love for my country.

The day before the glorious battle, it was all common in my life... I didn't know that that night would change everything... maybe it was better, because instead of finally embracing Feride's mother and father Hamez and all my family, I, as usual, went to the family's bedroom to sleep like any other night.
I didn't know...
Honestly, I didn't know that was the last night I was gonna play with Little Brian, I didn't know that was the last night Mother Feride was gonna kiss my forehead before she slept.
I didn't know I was a kid.

Born and raised in the Tower by the first Albanian teachers on that side, I had been convinced that the efforts of Father Shaban, the babosh Hammez, and the Adem ballet for the liberation of the country was only a duty. We as children of the Jashar family, we were used to seeing our men armed and persecuted, we were also accustomed to the hope of then Serbian power over Albanians on that side with special emphasis on our family.
He told us about it that Father Shaban told us stories that were inspired of the nation. So I believe that all of Yashar's children were prepared for the battle ahead.
But I did not know that the cruelty of the Serb invaders would save nothing.

Before dawn, we were awakened by the noise of the machine of the Serb invaders who had surrounded the tower of Father Shaban, even then I did not know what was waiting for us.
As my mother ordered me to take firewood, I met Daddy who was smoking with guns in his belt and arm as never before in my love of Daddy, as I never once saw his beauty.
I asked him: “Bubush, what's going on? What's that noise? ”
He smiled at me: “They're going somewhere, but they won't come to us”

I don't know why, every time Dad spoke, he'd calm my soul. It was the last time I saw him alive, but the voice I heard until his fall singing the motherland song:

Besides Daddy, I sang it myself... and I sing it today, the song that makes the message of fellow fighters, the message of unity, the message of our commitment to the eagle.

We naturally mobilized all members of the family, the daddy's song, and we answered in a row...

The battle that became the spark of a liberation war was nearing its end... the epilogue was heavy and painful for me the father who said to me: <x0...
Actually, it was my family's determination to free the country.

All that had happened in the battle of the Jashar family, is in my heart and mind... I will try to make this experience and events share with my nation when I can.
