Government could collapse in Macedonia, cause of Law on Language

Political parties still saw a concrete agreement on adopting the law on use of languages, with which official use of the Albanian language is advanced in Macedonia. The key to this is 35 thousand V amendments. MRO opposition DPMN, which was foretold after the state president's refusal, Gjorge Ivanov, to decree the law calling for the change of some parts of it with the claim that the form he had passed in the Assembly is contrary to the Constitution or that the same makes the bilingual state.
The head of the Parliament, Talat Xhaferi, who comes from the Democratic Union for Integration on Thursday, decided on the election law's adoption, with the aim of bypassing the opposition amendments, while after the failure of the session, he has given parties a week to reach agreement on adopting the law. He has not commented too much, but has said he will implement the Constitution.
The mayor has before him the Order and the Constitution, in which certain competencies and procedures --” are sanctioned, Xhaferi has declared, blaming several LSDM deputies who, according to him, are reluctant to vote on the law.
But, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev's LSDM, which supports the law, refused to participate in the session with the argument that, however, the law cannot be passed in that form, but that there should be an agreement with VMRO.
This was also the first clash of coalition partners that, in the event of escalation of differences, could also lead to the shake of government.
Meanwhile, VMRO has dismissed the ultimatum, while repeating the controversial stance on the language law.
“Ultimamate does not comment and it is not my level to comment on such attitudes. Our stand is clear and gives us access to exit from this”, the V chairman has declared MRO DPMNE's Hristian Mickoski.
He has called for the withdrawal of the law and the adoption of a new solution, which, as he has said, will be in line with the Constitution.
Despite such positions, connoisseurs of political issues believe the solution could be there.
“However, I think that eventually political parties will agree to this law adopt it as a political project, as proposed by Chief Parliamentary Xhaferi, again voting the entire text and again being sent for decree to President Ivanov<18x1>.
I think that's what the political agreement looks like, even though all that is possible in Macedonia is possible and in the end it will ruin everything, even though it currently appears on the horizon an agreement that I believe can be reached in the week-long term that the head of the Assembly” gave, says analyst Petar Arsovski.
Ismet Ramadani, the connoisseur of political affairs and former officials in some parliamentary compositions, believes the law on languages, despite V objections MRO DPMNE's will be approved. And, in this case, he recalls that the opposition should be careful about its behaviour or change its position when it comes to the rights of Albanians, as it may come to a situation that could never find a partner in Albanian parties in forming any new Government on its part.
Evidence of this, according to him, is the last elections the VMRO won, but failed to form Government precisely because of its anti-Albanian policies.
The “is a slightly difficult moment since VMRO is still taking a negative stance, but I think it doesn't take long for the VMRO DPMNE to factor in this case as they themselves should see the jobs of what could happen as a political party if they take an anti-Albanian stance, respectively, against the law on advancing the use of Albanian”.
“If they continue to do so they will have problems with Albanian parties because they will never be able to return and govern Macedonia, because governance in Macedonia without Albanians will be meaningless and impossible, Ramadani says, adding that the adoption of this law is important as it paves the way for the adoption of other reforming laws, which are of great importance in the country's Euro-Atlantic integration process. / REL
