Economic Development Minister Valdrin Luka said at a conference held in the afternoon that former Trepca Director Ahmet Tmava has already passed the mandate on 6 February and should not be in Trepca's offices as such.
Luka has made these comments after the situation in the Trepca Nation, where director Ahmet Tmava has resigned, ending charges in the direction of Minister Luka, who has said he has intervened in his work.
This is what I want to expose. First of all, a general director who has expired on February 6th can't resign so he has had a mandate and should not absolutely appear at Trepca offices”, Luka said.
The nation's general manager, Ahmet Tmava, has resigned today from the position of director of the company.
He during a proposal for Kosova Prees has mentioned only other concerns, even the interventions of Minister Valdrin Luka, deprived him of the right to exercise tasks and responsibilities in this transition period.
“Taking into account the failure of the Law and legal vacuum for non-function of the organs for failing to implement this Law, as well as the interventions of the Ministry of Economic Development and its staff unfairly, deprived me of the right to exercise tasks and responsibilities in this transition period, today on the 12th. 03. 2018, I resign irrevocable from the position of manager of Trepca Company, believing that the current managing staff will face the challenges of the time”, Tmava said.
Tmeva has announced that Trepca is currently in a stable financial position, while thanking all employees in this company for excellent co-operation so far.
Otherwise, director Tmava had come to the position of manager of this company since February 6, 2014.
