The ruling coalition, like the past, is failing to make 80 votes to close the issue. Meanwhile, no demarcation is continuing to remain an obstacle to the visa liberalisation process for Kosovo citizens.
Deputy Prime Minister Enver Hoxhaj says the demarcation should be voted in as soon as possible so that Kosovo can take the step of time.
“Demarkation needs to be voted in as soon as we want to respect the timetable of the EU institutions: on 22 March and 23 March it is the meeting of the European Council and in order for Kosovo to enter the agenda of this summit must vote and take the step of”, Hoxhaj has said of the news.
According to him, many decisions must be made by EU institutions and member states during 2018 until free movement on the practical plan is possible.
The weeks we left after the Parliament failed three times in a row to ratify this agreement in the absence of votes.
The largest opposition party Vetevendosje Movement has been declared against this agreement, while the Serbian List has yet to make a decision on how to vote.
