Today was a hard day for residents of Pristina's Drenoc village. There a person is dead, and except for the loss of the living, they are in trouble because the deceased cannot be buried. Village graves are covered by water so the body of the dead is left on the ground.
Residents are indignant with the municipality they say has reported several times, but no one has acted.
A village resident had died Sunday, but his burial at the water - covered site where the village cemetery is not possible.
Because of water, residents cannot bury the deceased near his family.
Drenoci residents know where this problem comes from, but they can't find solutions without municipality help.
They gathered to remove the water with a pump so they could bury the deceased. And family members expressed indignation about the problem.
Meanwhile contacted by RTK deputy head of the Pristina municipality, Selim Pacolli, said he had announced the problem three days ago as he promised he would visit residents Monday so that he can find a solution to the issue.
While municipality spokesman Adonis Tahiri said relevant companies would be sent Monday to assess the situation and take steps.
