Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq has declared today that he has been praying Romania's Chairman Klaus Werner Johanis to help in Belgrade's search efforts, as he has said, to compromise on resolving the Kosovo issue.
Vuciq, who is on official visit to Bucharest, has said he has announced the Romanian chairman with talks he had with German Chancellor Anga Merkel about Kosovo, as well as all that he has considered important for the compromise he wants about it.
As Rts has said, Romania is the largest country in the region and one of the five countries in the European Union to have recognised Kosovo, and therefore Romania's “support for compromise that would be very important”, while thanks to Bucharest for recognising Kosovo's independence.
There are few people in the region with whom we have not fought and with whom we have not had conflicts. With Romanians this never happened”, Vuciq has said.
