The law's entry into force for wages and employed in the state administration for three years will cost the state budget over 62m euros.
Public Administration Minister Mahir Jagcilar at the Government Meeting has presented concept-document for wages realised by Kosovo's budget, the Online Economy reports.
He said the basic wage will be defined as a result of the working group, as well as the principle of the same salary for the same job.
The co-operative group will be defined as the same wage principle for the same job. The report between the lowest and the best pay will be between 1 to 12”.
Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said the adoption of this draft is an event of importance for the country and the government.
Finance Minister Bedri Hamza said that even though they have supported this recommendation, there will be budgetary implications.
The Ministry of Finance estimates that the budgetary implications of this reform will cost the budget over 62 million for the period 2018-2020”.
“We as the MF have given our positive recommendation, but we are demanding that it comply with the legislation in force. Because we estimate that the cost for the first three years can be even higher”.
