The Pristina municipality has announced that with a citizen's proposal, it has engaged and has established first contacts for the purchase of City Tree.
City Tree is biofilter that significantly improves air quality, and its effect is 275 planted trees.
In one square meter it offers space for 1682 plants, thus increasing biodiversity in the city. It's green space/panel, which absorbs 250 grams of dust per day, and eliminates about 240 tons of CO2 per year.
The Pristina municipality through a communique has also announced that the City Tree project will be tested in 2018, and then the possibility for such panels to be placed in existing dwellings will be seen.
