Kosovo Parliament Speaker Blerim Latifi has written two parts in links to Albin Kurti and the reporters of four Podujevo martyrs, Zahir Pajazit, Edmond Hodza, Hakif Zeylus and Ilir Konushevci.
Latif has interpreted Kurt's platform as sentimentalism that conflicts with Leninist theory. But how does Latif make such an interpretation? First, he names Kurt as a classic of Marxism and makes a strange connection with the central figures of that doctrine, including Lenin, Stalin and Marx. But then, when this relationship becomes irrational during the treatment of the platform Kurt introduced to elect the president of the party, he expels Kurt from this tradition by citing him with sentimentality.
The engagement of activist Kurti tries to promote is regarded as similar to that of the charity Caritas, led by Victor Sopi.
In the second part of his writing, he deals with the Septembers of the aforementioned martyrs, which he says were made through the Stalinist tradition of sculpture, the Periscope transmits. The second part he calls “Artistic Stalinism in the center of Podujevo”.
Wessel's adviser does not even hesitate to criticize power in such a way, even though he is within himself.
Kosovo's “A side is hundreds of Septembers of KLA heroes, all realised with the standards of socialist realism. Consumed in intellectual and cultural misery, driven by the desire of the powers to take over symbolic control of social territory, we allowed socialist realism sculptors in Albania, unemployed after the fall of communism, invade the Kosovo sculpture market and thus send us back to the last place in Europe where Septembers are still built according to the Soviet artistic model.” he added.
