Vetevendosje Movement Vice-chairwoman Fatmire Mulhrama-Kulcaku says that despite the recent developments that have taken place in this movement, Vetevendosje is continuing its work as before and that it already has the new elected chairman, Albin Kurti. Speaking of recent developments and successive resignations from their positions by VV members, Kolcaku in an interview for Kosova Prees has invited all dissatisfied people to reconsider their position. While he says their removal from the VV harms the party.
“Normal since the removal of an individual, let alone when it comes to people who have contributed and are senior officials. I think it's more important in this case, that the decisions have made themselves. No matter what it's all about, it's about different procedures in the FB. I don't think it stays, because there's been no pushing from other officials to do so anyway. It's been something that's been going on for a long time that I as vice president of the movement haven't been very informed and sorry, that's why I'm inviting them to once again think of their positions and reconsider their resignations, because if they've contributed for years, I think it's much better to keep going along in motion, where the normal VV should constantly submit to the democratisation process, because no subject is ever enough democracy. Those who've been disgruntled have always had to present themselves in structure, in organs because I see them there myself. A lot of what I've heard from you in the media, and in the letters of the resignations, I haven't heard them for a long time there, in the structures and organs where they had to talk about this disillusion”, he said.
She added that top officials of this move have not resigned from the party, but only from their positions. While he says the movement will be stronger if they stay together.
We're still very open. I am not yet aware that at least these top officials, they have resigned from their positions, but they are still part of the VV Movement and that offer as early as it has been is to reconsider their positions, because I think the movement is much stronger when we are all together, especially about the Kosovo Assembly, where such a great force of 32 MPs, as the largest parliamentary group, is something that Kosovo needs. We're open, none of us have been there for this solution. We think that each of us will reconsider his own position and future, where he sees himself”, she said.
However, it says that this is a matter of will.
Nothing is difficult to do, it's a question of will. They've contributed years to the VV. I haven't seen that there's distance, either from the attitudes of movement, or many of them are founders, I haven't seen anything principled in them. I just think based on their proposals, whether through letters when they quit, or in public, I haven't seen conceptual differences. I just don't think they've been very principled in those resignations, and I don't see that there's something insurmountable, so I'm still optimistic that if they rethink their positions, most people believe they have the place they've been contributing for years, that in VV” Movement, she said.
She denies that the dissatisfied have been offered positions, only to stay in the party.
I don't think positions offer is made because it's the General Council, membership. You know how to vote in motion from the center to the council. There are no promises of positions, but each one of them is likely to run. I believe that those with the support of structures, membership, it's not a problem to have a position, but it's not what's offered in that form of” positions, she said.
While saying that their condition for not Kurt's mayoral candidate has been unfair.
I am not inclined to comment their statements. I think it was an unfair condition for Albin Kurt's non-partnership, it was an opportunity to have someone against the candidate to compete with platforms. Now the movement's membership has ruled that Albin Kurti, as the most supportive activist within the VV movement. It is re-election as chairman of the movement, and I think we are now facing a lot of important work”, he said.
In the end, she says she is not informed of the creation of any new parties by the group of disgruntled ones.
