Australia's regional headquarters for research has sounded the red alarm for companies whose planes fly to the area.
Mount Sinabung, at 2,600 feet [2,600 m] in the Carro area, has been quiet for centuries before the activism in August 2010, when two people died and 30,000 were evacuated.
