Visiting Sefaj to Mitrovica chairman

Minister of Internal Affairs Flamur Sefaj has stayed for a visit to the municipality of Mitrovica, where he was hosted by the mayor of this municipality, Agim Bahtiri.

Mayor Agim Bahtiri briefed Minister Sefaj about his challenges facing him as mayor of this municipality and on issues with which the municipal level from the Kosovo government can be supported.

The meeting also discussed improving civil service under the unified civilian state system and co-ordinating actions between municipal and central services.

The meeting stressed that during President Bahtiri's rule, there is a major decline in incidents and crime in the Mitrovica municipality, which is thanks to the will of citizens of this municipality and the good work of the Kosovo Police.

In this case, Minister Sefaj offered his full readiness and the Ministry of Internal Affairs in support of the municipality of Mitrovica, noting that without general security, he cannot achieve economic development not only for the municipality of Mitrovica, but for the entire Kosovo in general.
