Veliaj: National Theatre Will Be Without Tower

I have good news today. We've already made a decision, it's not secret. Tirana will have a modern National Theatre, without tower above, at the site where the theatre is today will be among the best in Europe and we are determined that in record time we will develop this project. I promise you today publicly that in co-operation with the Albanian government, with the prime minister, with the Minister of Culture and all the goodwills, we will have an unprecedented National Theatre across Europe”, Veliaj said.

From activity “Vjena welcomes Tirana”, Veliaj compared the debate created on theatre to that of several other major projects that have been made in the capital, but said that with co-operation the project will be finalised, the TCC reports, Trans Kosova broadcast.

But like any project, sophisticated projects especially need patience, want cooperation. What you're going to see today on stage starting with Inva Mula and everybody else is the product of people who patiently do things, trying to make history, not hysteria, and if we do things with patience and understanding as ever the square “Skorbej” or the New Bazaar or the corner of toys or other debates we've had about to fight with each other, which today have come up with wonderful products. We will be proud to be aware of our understanding and cooperation, and we can do wonderful things that we can't even do”, Veliaj said.
