Veliaj: Albania's biggest challenges are ignorance, division

Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj at the solemn Pristina municipality session said the challenge for the Albanian people is ignorance and division.

“Today the greatest challenges we have are ignorance and division. The future wars will be known. Kosovo's struggle with weapons for independence is the latest. The focus is on creating a generation that is competitive. We have to invest in education. Little do we know today. Find ways to get out of poverty”.

I believe there are more things that unite us than separate us. If we handle these challenges, we can move forward. We have the future ahead of us, but we need the courage our fathers had. May God grant us wisdom so that in the years to come we can have better”, he said.
