On February 14th, 2018, I promote the book published by Wiezer Verlag on the case of the 10th anniversary of Kosovo's independence”, Lunacek said, Koha.net reports.
The book, entitled “Building peace, means building a long road” from Brussels to the Silk Field and backwards: Kosovo's path towards the EU and my contribution to it speaks of its commitments to bringing Kosovo closer to the European Union, though this path is still long.
In this promotion, part of the discussions will be Wolfgang Petritsch, former EU emissary for Kosovo (1998-1999), and Verdran Dzijic, researchers at the Centre for Transatlantic Relations at Vienna University and expert on the Balkans.
We remember that Ulrike Lunacek, former leader of the Green Party, has been reporting for Kosovo in the European Parliament for eight years, as well as deputy chairman of this institution for a long time, but has also been a major supporter of Kosovo's freedom and independence, as well as of our country's democratisation and European integration.
She resigned last year for principled reasons after losing parliamentary elections in Austria to anti-Candidate Sebastian Kurz.
